OCD

Here For You

Obsessive-compulsive disorder was re-categorized in DSM-5 and is no longer characterized as an anxiety disorder; however, anxiety is a cardinal feature. Many people with OCD are able to hide their symptoms and choose to suffer in silence rather than risk potential ridicule.
Treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder is often challenging. Treatment resistance is quite common; between 40 to 60% of patients do not show and adequate response to first-line treatments. To learn more about treating OCD, please call or use the online scheduling tool to set up an appointment.
